Workshop – BOLD & data analyses
ONLINE
Dear ABOL community,
on Friday, March 26th, 2021 the 3rd free online workshop to provide training for working with the Barcode of Life Database (BOLD), to facilitate the work process in BOLD and the interpretation of sequence data, took place. Further workshops will take place.
The workshops will cover several hours and will be held in German.
In addition to the structure and the application of the large international DNA barcoding platform, analysis of your individual data may be possible (please contact us prior to the workshop, if you are interested) and some examples which will be discussed and tested directly in BOLD. The workshop is aimed at all interested people, prior knowledge is not required! The database topics are discussed and worked out together in a secure and yet personal online atmosphere.
We look forward to numerous regsitrations!

We kindly ask you to register at oliver.macek@nhm-wien.ac.at, including an assessment of your own understanding of DNA barcoding and data analysis, which allows for optimizing the preparation and ensures a positive workshop experience.
If you have scheduling difficulties or you are interested in an English workshop, don´t hesitate to contact us! We can setup additional and/or English workshops if needed.
The workshop is free!
— short breaks and small exercises stimulate autonomous exploration of data and provide possibilities to ask questions —
— the workshop will last about 3 hours depending on the active participation —
